A dog is supposed to be man’s best friend, right?  What if man’s best friend doesn’t have a backyard to potty in? 

Doggy Solutions has come up with the “Pet Patio Potty” to help solve one of pet owners toughest problems.  “In the Fall of 2002, my mother and father moved into a lovely loft in the Riverfront Park neighborhood of downtown Denver. Like so many of us, my parents have a dog, Maggie (right), who they absolutely adore. Their primary concern about moving into their third floor loft with a very small balcony was what to do about taking Maggie out late in the evening, during the night and when the weather was really nasty.

My husband and I searched for a solution to this problem both at local pet stores as well as on the internet with little success. The products we did find either lacked aesthetic appeal or had other deficiencies making them unsuitable for my parents. Since I was the one who had convinced my parents to make this move, I calmly turned to my husband and said… “DO SOMETHING!!!”

His resulting solution is the product we now call the Pet Patio Potty™ (patent pending). This sturdy redwood dog litter box was designed to be an attractive addition to my parents’ balcony while serving as a convenient potty for their pet. Both of my parents were VERY skeptical, but hopeful. The morning after we placed the potty on the balcony, my mom tentatively led Maggie to the box and said “Go Potty!” Much to her surprise, Maggie immediately co-operated.

Ever since, the Pet Patio Potty™ has provided a welcomed alternative for my parents when walking Maggie is not convenient or safe. Fortunately, Maggie was not unique in her willingness to use this pet potty in that other precious pooches have learned to use this product “to do their business!!!”

As a result of working with many human and canine clients, we have expanded our product line by adding sizes and models to better address the needs of the urban dog owner.”
